    Masters Action & Gun Cleaner
Go back to top - Print this Description

    NOW AVAILABLE

Product Description- An advanced formula for removing built up carbon powder residues, grease and lubricant residues, dirt, waxes, lead, copper or plastic particles that have accumulated in the action, chamber or firing mechanism of a firearm. Many gun cleaners are only solvents which perform a degreasing action, but do very little to dissolve carbon residues. This product will soften and dissolve these materials and help flush them from the firearm with a minimum of physical scraping. Masters Action & Gun Cleaner is formulated to scrub these materials from your firearm and prepare it for re-lubrication without causing dried out appearance that some firearm cleaning solvents produce. Masters Action & Gun Cleaner contains a synthetic lubricant component which penetrates the close fitting and inaccessible areas of your firearm to leave a slight amount of residual lubrication and corrosion protection.

    Directions for Use -

    1. Make sure the firearm is unloaded.

    2. Field strip the firearm, to expose as much of the action surface as possible. Wet the action surfaces with Masters Gun Cleaner. The spray extension tube can be used to direct a spray stream into tight areas where residue and dirt often accumulates, or into areas that are not readily accessible. Spray gas chambers, rings and area around locking lug surfaces.

    3. Use a cleaning brush or pick to disturb or loosen built up residue that may have accumulated in crevices or critical areas such as around extractors, ejectors, gas chambers, feed ramps or locking lugs.

    4. Use a spray stream of Masters Gun Cleaner to flush away the loosened and dissolved material.

    5. Repeat steps 3 and 4, as needed.

    6. Use clean patches to wipe and further verify cleanliness of the firearm surfaces.

    7. Relubricate and protect the action and moving parts using Masters OGS-3 Gun Oil or Masters Synthetic Spray Gun Oil.

Note: Use caution when spraying cleaner over walking surfaces. Over spray can cause a slip hazard and should be removed if present on floors.

    Masters Bore Cleaner
Go back to top - Print this Description

    NOW AVAILABLE

Product Description - Masters Bore Cleaner is formulated to chemically scrub, strip and remove built up lubricants, carbon, powder, grease, waxes, lead, copper, plastic and even Moly residues that have accumulated within your bore. Specially formulated solvents delivered with a powerful stream perform a degreasing action that softens and dissolves these materials, then blasts them from the bore and firearm, freely and effectively.

    Directions for Use

    1. Make sure the firearm is unloaded.

    2. Masters Bore Cleaner can be sprayed directly into chamber or barrel. CAUTION: Avoid overspray on to external firearm surfaces and surrounding area. Masters Bore Cleaner is very aggressive and should remain inside the bore. Extended contact with delicate finishes and some types of plastic could cause damage. It is not recommended or necessary to soak bores over night or for long periods of time.

    3. Following initial wetting of the bore, use a patch to wipe out softened residue.

    4. Use the correct sized copper or steel brush to loosen and dislodge remaining residue. Several passes should be made, traveling the full length of the bore, before reversing travel. If possible , always clean from the chamber end of the barrel to avoid cleaning rod contact with the muzzle or crown. Use of a rod guide is recommended. The cleaning rod should also be wiped frequently to remove any residues that may be present.

    5. Following brushing, spray Masters Bore Cleaner on a cleaning patch and repeat step 2 twice. Always use a clean and rewetted patch.

    6. Alternate steps 5 and 6 until patches come out clean following brushing. It is normal for this process to be repeated several times to thoroughly and properly clean a firearm.

    7. Complete the bore cleaning process by passing several dry patches through the bore to remove any remaining cleaning solvent.

    8. Following cleaning of the firearm bore, Masters Action & Gun Cleaner should be used to clean the firearm action and external surfaces. Use a cleaning brush or pick to disturb or loosen built up residue that has accumulated in crevices or critical areas such as around extractors, ejectors, gas chambers, feed ramps or locking lugs. This residue can then be flushed away using the Masters Action & Gun Cleaner.

    9. Re-lubricate and protect the action, bore and moving parts using Masters OGS-3 Synthetic Gun Oil and/or Masters Synthetic Spray Lubricant / Protectant.

Note: USE CAUTION ALWAYS. Master Bore Cleaner is an aggressive solvent that may harm some surfaces and finishes. Always know where residual bore cleaner will fall and avoid contract with finished floors. Some gun sights (plastic) may be affected by this product. Avoid contact. Always use eye protection when spraying cleaning products.
